There may be times where it is tough being your authentic self because your emotions are too difficult to manage and may be keeping you from organizing your thoughts. Perhaps you may be noticing that the way you are coping is creating more problems than solutions and is becoming more ineffective (i.e. substances, anger, lashing out). Being aware of these negative behaviors may lead you to understand that change, while scary, may be necessary. As a therapist, I have worked with people to help them create the changes they want for their lives.

I offer a warm, engaged and collaborative approach in my work with you. Initially we discuss the difficulties you are currently struggling with, what you would like to have happen, and then design a plan for how you can best move through life challenges and create meaningful and lasting change. My training, education, and experience has been in providing evidence based practices and culturally sensitive services to both teens and adults seeking assistance with their challenges.

You will be met with a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore new options to succeed in life. Our time together will allow you to have another person fully there in your corner to listen, ask meaningful questions and support you to actualize the life and relationships you truly want and deserve. My approach in our work together is holistic, dynamic, and client-centered. My eclectic approach utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Person Centered Therapy to help understand your unique experience and why you may feel “stuck”.
