Foster growth through perseverance…

As a native Californian born in Los Angeles, I first became interested in helping others when I would see how much drugs were affecting my friends and classmates around me. As people confided in me for their support, it was then that I found my calling to help people with their problems. This led me to pursue a future in substance abuse counseling. In my internships working with those afflicted by addiction, I learned that many of my clients wanted to “go deeper” into their problems. This led me to pursue my education to become a Marriage and Family Therapist in order to better help my clients.

As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT#109888) and an Alcohol and Drug Studies Specialist licensed by the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals as a CADC-II-CA, I have learned to branch out of the addiction realm and focus more on mental health disorders. I received my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Trauma from Pacific Oaks College. I have over 5 years of experience counseling individuals who have had many difficulties in their lives including mental health challenges and substance abuse problems using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have worked in both inpatient/residential settings as well as outpatient services assisting people put their lives back together and recovering from life challenges and other difficulties.

My goal is to help you find inner peace so you can fully enjoy life. Together, we can take the next steps on your courageous journey to growth and connection.
